Jeremie Myhren entered the convenience retail industry in 2000 upon the sale of his information technology (IT) consulting business to longtime convenience retailer, Arens Oil, Inc. of central Missouri.
Following the sale, Myhern joined Arens Oil as their Director of Information Technology and general manager of their newly acquired IT business. As a member of Arens Oil, Jeremie had the opportunity to get to know small and family owned chains across the country as they became his customers.
When Arens Oil exited convenience retail in 2002, Jeremie joined his former customer, Road Ranger in Rockford, Ill. as their Director of Information Technology and at the same time repurchased his IT consulting business.
Jeremie continued to operate the IT consulting business until 2006 when he sold it again and went “all in” to focus on convenience retail IT. Jeremie is now the vice president of information technology for Road Ranger and the co-founder and chief information officer (CIO) for ONRAMP. He is the past chairman for the National Advisory Group’s (NAG) Young Executive Organization (YEO).
A Certified Ethical Hacker and Penetration Testing Professional, Jeremie specializes in information security and holds many professional accreditations, including those surrounding PCI compliance.
