Mark Braden is a Senior Director for Public Affairs at Reynolds American where he leads national public affairs efforts on legislative and regulatory issues. Serving as a Senior Vice President at an international public affairs firm before joining Reynolds, Braden led public affairs, grassroots and media campaigns in all 50 states focused on defense, foreign affairs, trade, health care, education, transportation, regulatory, and procurement issues. In 2014, Braden served as the campaign manager for the re-election campaign of U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander. He also managed the 2012 campaign for U.S. Senator Bob Corker. Prior to his work in Tennessee, Braden managed the re-election campaign of U.S. Senator Richard Burr. He also served in senior leadership roles for the presidential campaign of Senator John McCain, gubernatorial campaign of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and the North Carolina Republican Party. Braden also served on Capitol Hill as a legislative aide to U.S. Congressman John J. Duncan, Jr. A graduate of the University of Tennessee and lifelong fan of the Vols, Braden resides in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with his wife, Katy, and their two children.
